Rain

Synthesizes rain sound. You can shape density, filter position, reverb amount, and stereo width. The on-panel graphic reacts as you tweak controls.

Features

  • Continuous noise bed with density-controlled level (not discrete “drop” synthesis)
  • DJ-style lowpass / highpass filter sweep around the center detent
  • Mutable Instruments Clouds-style reverb in the wet path
  • Stereo outputs with Mid/Side width control (0 = mono sum, 1 = natural stereo, 2 = exaggerated side)
  • Compact 4 HP panel with per-parameter CV

Documentation

Quick Start

  1. Patch Audio L and Audio R into your mixer or interface
  2. Raise Density until the bed feels present, then adjust Filter for tone (dark to bright)
  3. Add Reverb for space; use Width to collapse to mono or widen the field
  4. Modulate Density CV / Filter CV / Reverb CV / Width CV from sequencers or LFOs

See the manuals for exact CV laws and defaults.
